as we discussed in the PM, this song is finished product.... it's off my 'Trouble' cd, on planet records.
i have a link at the bottom of my thread....
certain tones seem to work differently on different systems.
now, i had this project professionally mastered, because i just don't have the chops to do it.
but, the ME only had MY mixes to work with, so if i missed the mark with the low end not thumping enough, it's because of my monitoring system and room i mix in.
i actually tried to go for a 'classic rock' vibe on this album, and made a concious decision to make the sounds a little more cleaner with that in mind...
i didn't use a lot of reverbs, because i wanted the performances to stand as close to the original sounds as possible.
it IS fun to play with extreme eq'ing, and compression, and effects....
and i do that sometimes...
but that's really not my sound.
but it would be neat to capture this whole album as a 'live' experience, if i could ever amass enough players to do it all, that'd be the sound i'd go for.

csny..... i surely grew up listening to a lot of these guys...
you can't help but go there with 3 and 4 part harmony..
i try not to overdo it (ala Queen or Boston) but it's too fun not to do it!
