Logitech trackball mouse dosen't work on AW4416?

Hi there, do you know of any way to make this mouse work on the aw4416? it came w/ a CD software to instal in computer but how do i instal it in the AW4416? (it's a corded track ball optical mouse)

what OS are you using?

On win Me, it was recognized without having to use the Cd, but if the aw4416 does not have that Os, then you might need to swtich . Its nice as heck though.
 
well i don't know what OS the AW4416 uses. how would i? all i know is that the mouse came w/ one of those new plugs (usb) and i had to get an adapter to connect it.but after all the litle arrow did not appear on the screen.
 
I had bought a mouse for my 4416, that seemed to be opened, but didn't say 'serial' on the box as the connection. I bought the 'serial' adaptor and it still didn't work.

I retured it and bought a mouse that was 'serial' and came with the connector and has been running fine ever since.
