Logical or not?

I red Milkman's thread "(post your setups here)" and I think we are a wealthy community.
I don't want to know how many people are using cracked software.

But is it understandable with the high prices and especially after wat happened with Emagic?

I know a guy who bought logic 5 for his pc, including logic control and he is really pissed off now. He doesn't want a Mac!!
 
Upgrade Path

The reason I'm using Logic is because it was the only package that had a reasonable upgrade path (micrologic $79, Logic Silver $199, Logic Gold $299--and it came with a sampler, etc.).

DP would've required jumping in with both feet. And I didn't want to go the Pro Tools route (more from a philisophical perspective, not necessarily a reasoned one).
 
Logic will continue to support WIN version thru 5.9
As far as Im concerned, I have all the power I need with 5.3 and dont see an upgrade coming for years. By then it may be time to build a new system anyway.
