a short time ago there was a poll regarding a Logic Audio forum.

it was a positive subject with the request for a Logic section being the main objective.

i read some replies regarding the administrators of this sites view that Logic does not equate to being a "HomeRecording product" ???...is this still the view or was this just a members point of view? ...is the Logic forum here or am i blind?

for some reason i find myself browsing the pages of Homerecording.com less and less these past few weeks as i can't be bothered with the childs play...i doubt very much the people who accesss this forum are children, those who offer advice and tips appear as proffessional as anyone i've spoken to in Audio recording hops or support desks so its strange that a simple request that includes a poll and ends in a positive result is not taken up by those who run the site.

it's simply and observation and if you don't take notice then thats fine but if you check your records you will find that those who do use Logic are many and numerous and as with any business, if customers don't find what they want they shop elsewhere...just so you know.

i feel like a sad cu** writing this sh**...i spend more time on a forum than making music, then more time requesting a Logic forum when i'm on the bloody forum...needlesst o say i'll go elsewhere.

I'll second that, this BBS needs a Logic forum badly.

The arguement that logic isn't a home recording programme is a pile of crap.

Logic Silver is available for £160 -- that definately puts it in the home recording price range.

I would really like to have a *good* reason why there isn't a Logic forum. There are many logic users out there that really have issues they want to discuss, and problems that they need help with solving.

the Mix (uk version) voted logic 4.8 as sequencer of the year, beating cubase and sonar. Isn't that a hint?

There is no doubt in my mind that a logic forum is wanted by many users of this BBS. So where is it?

I'm certainly for a Logic forum; but, if someone has a question, tip, etc., they could easily post it here. I rarely see a Logic based question, while Sonar, Cakewalk comeup quite often. Maybe there really isn't much interest in Logic here. If there were, then why aren't there more threads?

I don't even know what Logic is (as you can see it's something I lack sometimes LOL :D ) and I've seen this type of thing brought up many times. If anyone wouldn't care to give me a brief brief description of what Logic is to see where I stand on the issue that'd be cool. I would surf the web now to find out but I got to go.

Event forum??? minidisk forum?? Screw those, make those a logic forum and maybe something more people use.

As carparker indicated the sonikmatter forum is by far the absolute best forum for logic users. If you got a question about logic, it will be answered !!!
Logic, logic and more logic is what you get there.
Appears to be professionals on this forum that can at times go over your head, but if you want to learn it, thats the place to be.

ahh so that's what Logic is....

just checked out the website...so now I must ask: why isn't there a forum for it? I doubt I'll ever use it myself though. (looks and sounds too complicated...I bet expensive too :( )
