I just bought my first rack synth, Roland XV-5050, and I am having troubles setting it up in the enviroment in Logic. I created a new multi instrument in the "Instruments" page, in the environment, but I can't seem to use the multiple channels when selecting seperate tracks in the arrange window, and yes I did have it in performance mode. I tried creating new tracks and changing the channel on each, but the channel always seems to make its way back to "all" instead of the number I set it to. very weird. Also the icon in the enviroment page has all the numbers crossed out. I did setup its output midi port properly aswell. I could hear sounds mind you, but nothing worked right. even the editor
If someone could tell me how to properly set it up it would be so greatly appreciated.
