Hi

I'm new here so hello all :) my set up is as follows....6 piece DW maple kit; A custom rezo cymbals; I use a Macbook pro OSX 10.6.8; Logic pro 8. As my alesis i/o26 has only 8 XLR inputs and I need 10 I was wondering if I can run the overhead condenser mic's thru the i/o2 and somehow daisy chain them..? The i/o26 is firewire and the i/o2 is usb. I'm a real novice to drumming and recording and only been at it 14 months so please excuse - I truly am a layman. Can someone explain how to set all this up including the Logic pro set up....

Many thanks...

Do a web search on setting up an aggregate device on your Mac. That will be the best way to use both interfaces at the same time considering ADAT daisy chaining won't be an option. All you'll have to do in Logic is set your aggregate device as the audio input in preferences.
