hi all, I'm having a rewire problem... dunno if it's normal behaviour, maybe some1 had the same, hope u can help
I have logic platinum and reason 1 installed on a PC together with a basic Marian Marc PCI card and ASIO driver.
I open Logic first and reason then, Reason is in rewire slave mode, I select two audio tracks in Logic and assign them the mix L and mix R rewire channels
channell > instrument > mix L/R for each track
so I have: channel: mix L (and right) for those two tracks
as long as the device is PC (the onboard sound card) they rewire nicely, and the two rewired audio tracks can be heard from the computer speakers
however, the moment I choose ASIO as the device for one of those tracks, the channel turns to OFF, no signal is received by the track (the one with device PC still going)
mix L and R are not to be found again under channell>instrument as long as ASIO is the device for those tracks
it is like Logic cannot receive any signal from the rewired application if not from the onboard soundcard
I am pretty sure I tried to change the device for the master track (channel: output 1-2) from PC to ASIO...
kinda baffled... is this normal behaviour? Audio preferences in reason are obviously locked. Any suggestion is really appreciated. Thank you
