I usually do my midi-stuff with some kind of a 'light version' of Logic. It's not called Logic but it just looks like it and handles those .lso-files too.
Yesterday I had to re-install windows (does bill gates have a conscience???) and; funny, the time-ruler in my Logic-like-midi-proggie doesn't look the same way as it did but just a little broken. The standard-notation is f*cked up too - the lines are missing until you click on it.
So what do PC-users do? Uninstall, re-install. But there seems to be somekind of .ini-file that remains and is used again after re-installing - the ruler still looks crooked.

Then something occured to me: I've got that real Logic somewhere on a - let's say shareware - disc. So I throw it on my PC and guess what: that ruler looked crooked too.

No other application has problems like these - so it can't be the graphic-card... must be some .ini-file or anything like that.

Any help?

My suggestion would be to ask eMagic. You might have a problem since it's "shareware". Just say you're having the problem with the free version (I belive it's Logic Rocket?).

it's actually "micro logic fun" I found out today - because it says "micro logic fun" in the win.ini. soooo cheap!!! I bought it as "studio musiker" but I soon got suspicious by that .lso-files and that firm-logo ;-).

Thats pretty funny. I know that Harmony Central (http://www.harmonycentral.com ) has an "online studio" community, and it uses a free version of Logic called Logic Rocket. (Rocket Studio Community or something like that). It's the full program I think, but it only has like 8 audio tracks and other limitations like that, kinda like Pro Tools Free.

I can't believe it: It really was the driver for the graphic-card. it worked fine with every other program I use but it messed up that logic-based stuff.
aaaargghhhh... pc's!
