Hello,
I'd like to make my setup a bit more reliable.
Hardware:
Compaq Pressario 2500
p4 2.66ghz 2gb Ram
WinXP setup and stripped down for DAW usage.
Presonus Firestudio w/ most updated firmware and drivers.
Presonus Firesstation as 8 chan adat to feed fstudio
I have cubase sx3. Sometimes I have a little problem when tracking a lot of tracks. I havent used the Fstudio with this setup. The little problems I had in th past were with the Firepod. Just clicks/pops once in a while.
Anyway Im looking for the lightest most reliable program for simply tracking, then I can import them into whatever I will be doing mixdown with.
Would reaper be a good choice? Or should I jsut stick with cubase?
