live recording enhancement

I have a live recoding that I took from television that I'd like to clear up/enhance with my Sound Forge 6.0. Is this possible? I've tried some things but the sound doesn't clean up very much. The sound is presently muffled and I'm looking to sharpen it up.

With EQ, try boosting 5kHz and 10kHz - may help.

Yes it is possible. Although you probably won't be very happy with it. There is no magic formula for what you are trying to do.
