Hi,
Well i got stuck with a bunch of nitwits trying to pull off a christmas eve "special music" at a church. the problem is the people i'm working with are incompetent as far as live mixing goes. so here's my situation:
1 acoustic guitar
1 violin
1 flute
a piano
and a singer
the stage we are playing on is around 40 feet wide by 15 feet long as seen in attachment.
im going to be micing my acoustic with an sm58 and another with the singer. considering the size of the church itself i dont think we'll need to mic the other instruments.
so what would be the ideal setup and position of instruments on this stage for best results?
thanks,
Zack
