Live mic for female vocalists ($100-$200)

My youth group is upgrading some sound system equipment, I suggested we get some new microphones (as opposed to the 4 mics for $100 deal that we were using before, >_<).

The vocalists are female, so a good high end in the mic would be ideal. Also, we have lots of problems with feedback (due to slightly incompetent soundmen), so a microphone that is less likely to feedback is a must as well.

I know SM58s would be an obvious choice. I have one myself, but I am not a huge fan of it. I am sure there is something much better suited for 100-200 dollars.

So, what do you reccommend?

An engineer friend once told my that for a female singer he preferred an SM57, just for whatever it was worth-it was his personal choice. :confused:
