I have fairly spacious music room
I want to record live dynamic duet of trombone and drums.

What microphone/s and set up would you recommend I should use ?

My maximum budget is $1200.

I will appreciate all you inputs.

Think about your question a bit. Now, pretend we don't know anything other than what you provided.

Now, we.. could go '$1200 for a nice stero pair, or IDK, 'ten inputs for drums, and another 'x for...'
See where this goes?
