LIVE Beatles music

Listened to Strawberry Fields. The drums sound very good. Is the percussion all live/real? Like the synth strings less. Not enough bow in the attack to sound realistic. Vocal's pretty good for a live take. I've heard some of the other Britins tracks and think this one could benefit from maybe just a little more guitar, if you've got it or could add it, to add to the non-synth realism.

Thanks for posting.

pretty good yes, on savoy truffle the keys may be slightly loud/vocals a bit quiet

Tim...

Yes, the percussion is all live and real. After the first minute, the cello takes over the bass, and the bass player does the shaker. I agree on some of the synth sounding strings. But compared to some keyboard strings I've heard, I think it sound better than most. The opening flutes are the exact same sample used on the original - our keyboard player has connections :)

The vocal does sound really good, eh? Of course, live, I can't get it that thin and distorted, what with the stage monitors mudding up the house mix - which is one more reason I'm begging them all to get in-ears.

There is only one guitar on the original - the early rhythmn and the later lead. But I know what you mean. It does sound a tad ... unfull in spots.

Olfunk...

I'll relisten to the vocal/keys balance. Sometimes it sound much different when it's a .wav file.

Thanks for your input guys :)
