Little Titty --- First try at home recording

Hey, guys!

I'm a long-time lurker and I've learned a HECK of a lot from all yous guys, but I've finally decided to put up some of my own tunes and see where i can improve. This is the first recording I've done with my band, Bruce Movement. The song is called "Little Titty." Here's a link:

We are pretty skilled group and my friend Sasha recorded us. She is adorable, but there are some things in the recording that jumped out and sounded wrong, maybe. Your experienced ears will hopefully help us figure out what to do on here.

different,............ try moving the mike around the bass its a little distant. deffenetly add some verb to the vocals, and latter when you have a decent mix across the main bus to add some depth to the recording, not sure if thats the way you want the guit to sound. but maybee a new set of strings.
 
Ok, you guys can play and you can kinda record but I have just one question...

I am actually digging this song a bunch...weird!

I think everything is perfect, I wouldn't change a thing about the mix.

Coming from Jake, that's a hell of a compliment. Take that for what it's worth. I can't listen right now, but as soon as I get home, I'll give it a shot!
 
I took a chance and gave it a listen. I grew up with Country and Western and Blue Grass jam sessions at my house every weekend. I can remember trying to stay awake at 1 in the morning trying to soak it all in. This brings back some memories. Nice tune, great sense of humor.

Don't change a thing!

I'm guessing it's The Seifer. This sounds an awful lot like that parody he did of Blue Bear a few weeks ago. Plus the name of the band smells of displaced anger. Not badly played, though. Funny.
 
That's The_Seifer! Having the names Bruce and Sasha in the same stupid song is not a coincidence I fear. And the bandname Brucemovement, it's definatley Seifart.

You can hear it's the same voice!! I'm confused that so much effort has been put in ... it's not quite as catch as 'My Name Is ... ' but yet another sign of a highly disturbed mind ...

I caught the whole Bruce/Sasha thing right from the get-go...

Not as cute as his first effort tho...

I guess I have been outta the loop over here for too long. Missed it. Great song though....still rollin it.
 
The guy was the furthest thing from my mind. That's why I didn't catch it. I see it all now.... :o
 
first off i don't need to be judged by you

also you can set your drama aside. just critique the mix. that is all anybody asked for. i have never posted a song on this site period.

geocities told me that my bandwidth was exceeded 5 times already and they warned me about that. what this means is that it is basically a hit song. but if somebody knows how i can put it some place else real quick it would be a snap of good karma i'm sure

bruce movement has played deleware for past 2 years and if you ask people around deleware (because it;s not a very big place) they will have heard of us

first off i have GOOD attitudes about this. yous are the people that are trying to screw this up for me. now understand i don't need your judgemental attitude about who i am or what i have accomplished. WE HAVE DEFINITELY PLAYED DELEWARE FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS FYI i have pictures from tri-county fairs i can even upload once i get them scanned. i came here thinking i can get help instead i get harrassed.

now where can i post my other songs for feedback and for people to be mature over
