Little help please!

I have posted this on the recording studio design forum but was hopeing to get some more input. I have a room that I use now as my studio. It is 9' x 17' with 8.5' ceiling ht. & has a 3' wide door 3' up from what is now the back wall. After reading & rereading the information on all the related sites I have chosen to keep it as one room, (mainly a control room) recording vocals & acoustic guitar. When necessary I will record drums in another part of the house. I am attaching drawings I have done with my ideas, but am open minded to any others. I guess I am just looking for a little input , and any would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, the only thing I can read on that drawing is "Created With A Trial Copy of Smart Draw," or whatever it is. The font's a tad too small.
