Audio Engineer InProgress
I have finally finished our first demo project. Each and every song (all 12 of them) are freestyled, except for the choruses.
Just click on a song to start listening to it (via streaming). I ordered from top to bottom the ones I like most.
"Straight Up"
"I'm Coming Quick"
"The Game Ain't Stopping Me"
"Start A Riot"
"Rolling the Streets"
"Collecting Dividends"
"Don't Stop"
"Kill, Front, Die"
"Reminiscence"
"Erase Those Haters"
"Lifestyles"
"Kick Back"
You can also listen to them from our GarageBand.com page:

Let me explain what I meant by "our". I'm Chris, and I created all of the beats from the ground up using a drum program and an a lot of software synthesizers. I'm also the one who recorded and produced everything, which I did right out of my own house (didn't step foot in a studio). I'm currently doing a home training course for becoming an audio engineer, so I figured this would be good practice.
Now the heart of the songs, however, is done by Chad. He provides the vocals and lyrics. However, Chad freestyled every song except the chorus, which is what he based his freestyling on. We plan on going back and writing better lyrics later, if needed.
We don't have a name for us yet, so I just use Chad's name: "Chad Bean". We will come up with a good rapper-type name soon.
Listen to a few (or all) of the songs and let me know what you think.
