Is Anyone running home recording on a Linux operating system??? I have a chance to get a super deal on a new computer - 1.6 gig processor/40 gig hard/ 256ram/ for under $400...but it is bundled with the Linux OS...
Will this run Sonar (my favorite) or simular??? If not then what recording software will it support??? thanks

No, it will not run sonar. There is a mutlitrack app for linux, but then you cant run all the neat plugins. You can, however, load windows xp on it and your good to go....Just because it comes with Linux doesnt mean you have to stay with it.
