Note: All instrument's were played by me and mixed together using Cool Edit pro, I used a crappy philips mic so the quality isn't near good. But it's a clean sound.
And I do not claim to be great on any of the instruments I play

Yes, that's the link, sorry if it didn't come out but I'm sort of new to this forum. And it has a quite different layout too..

One word...microphone......I listened to them all, and I think a good microphone would enable you to record the sounds more faithfully...the jazz tune was neat, but the cymbal was too loud I thought...compression might do you good, I don't know..or maybe some bottom stuff....you play several instruments, so a bass would be a good thing to add, to fill out the sounds too...keep playin'...gibs

Well as you said I need better microphone(s). I posted regarding that on the microphones section of this forum. Once I put together a decent set of mics I'll record much better files. I didn't care much about these anyway, I just did them to see what I can do. More of an experiment really... I know some bass but I guess not enough to go along with the bass line on the piano. Oh well, let's see after my mics come!

As promised I listened to your stuff.

It sounds about as good as I would expect with a single cheap microphone. I dig your style and look forward to hearing your stuff in the future. It's hard to say anything negative or positive about the sound you're currently getting so I'll just hold off until you get some microphones :)

What kind of preamps/mixer are you getting with your mics?
