Hi there, just wondering if any of you guys know of any simple solution to my problem. I have read through all the manuals that came with it and they are no help.
OK so I bought the Creative Audigy soundblaster 2, because I don't have much of a budget and I wanted to just try out some simple stuff from a line in from my guitar to my computer. So I plugged my jack lead in to the line in 1/ mic in. Selected the input on the computer and no sound came out and my computer did not recognise that my guitar was plugged in. So I selected another input called "What You Hear" and the computer recognised that my guitar was plugged in and recorded (this is still through line in 1 exactly the same as what it didn't recognise). So obviously when I go to overdub on Cubase it records whatever is playing on the computer, thus recording the previous tracks layed down resulting in a really lossy format. Do you guys know off hand what the problem may be?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
