I recently bought the X-FI Titanium HD soundcard. The Line-In ports are analog on this card. I had to buy a rca to 1/4th converter. I've connected the PRE-AMP into the SOUNDCARD and the Line-In option always says "Not Ready." I don't understand what the problem is or why It's doing this, can anyone help?

So what exactly are you trying to achieve also 1/4th converter?

I'm trying to record. The 1/4th converter is the quarter inch connector that goes into the line-out on the preamp. RCA to 1/4th" is basically an RCA plug connected into an Adapter that converts the other end into a 1/4th" connector. Does that make sense?

Oh okay I get you your using a 1/4" Jack from the preamp into the convertor then into the RCA on your soundcard. Well honestly I haven't had any experience with that sound card or converting RCA - Jack It might be worth a look on the companies website see if they have a forum or just Google 'X-Fi Titanium HD Line in problems"
