Line 6 Toneport UX8

I have been using Line 6 Toneport UX2 for the last year or so. I just got a new PC and I am also wanting to upgrade my interface to have more inputs so that I can record drums. Would this be a good upgrade or is there something better for the money? Thanks!

Is there any quality difference between the 2?

I wouldnt think so. My only concern is whether USB is going to handle 8 channels and what will happen if you need another 8

humm. I dont think ill need more than 8. Is there a better option for this price range??
