Line 6 Toneport UX2 but no soundcard for PC, can I go cheap since its only playback?

I will be recording to the Line 6 toneport (arriving tommorrow), but I have no soundcard for my Desktop. I realize I dont need the soundcard to record and get great sounds. But I will need it for playback I assume. How cheap can I go on the soundcard w it still sounding great for playback and mixing? Should I skimp on the soundcard or is this important? Any ideas on good soundcards or places to get them cheap?

You're fine with just the toneport. The toneport IS your soundcard. It has stereo analog and digital spdif outs. You dont need another soundcard. It handles the input/recording and the output/playback.
