Line 6 Toneport UX 2 vs. Line 6 Pod Studio

Howdy,

I am setting up a home recording studio to record primarily vocals and some guitar/bass. Can anyone please tell me the main differences between the toneport ux2 and the pod studio ux2, and what they would recommend for my situation...

The only difference is the color of the faceplate. The Toneport UX2 was the first incantation of the UX2 with a red faceplate. Line 6 hassince dropped the "Toneport" part of it, changed the faceplate to black and changed the name to Pod Studio UX2. There is no functional difference that I'm aware of.
