I think it's better than the other 2 songs you have posted.
Is that a real acoustic guitar?

I agree... better than the other clips I've heard from you but still - there are sonic issues you need to get a handle on.

The entire track sounds like you basically sucked the mids right out of the mix.... leaving you basically high-freqs and bass....

Go grab yourself a Cat Stevens album and listen to the relationship between guitar, bass and vocals.... the guitars are present and full, but yet, have space in the spectrum for the vocals. The bass gets tucked just under it all, well-defined and nicely filling in the low end....

That's what you want to shoot for!

Good luck........

Wow MrSoundman! That was really cool. I like that one. There was a slight hiss in the background but everything else sounded great individually. I think I like that version better than the original. Cool sound effects in the background. Love the accoustic. Good job on the vocals.
:)

Playing and vocal exicution was good. Too much high end to the point of being shrill and no low end. I dig the tune. Just needs a re-mix and watch the EQ and levels on the drums and bass.

CHARVA,yes it's an ovation acoustic electric.
BLUE BEAR,yea i was doin live so i couldn't be at the board, so i pulled the mids down so i wouldn't have to worry about feedback, but pulled it down too much.
SAMMANDER, thanks for the great review, was usin mackie 16 channel gig mixer it has some pretty decent built in effects.
TRACK RAT, look at blue bears, plus i bout screwed it up with sonic foundry, sound forge. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU! hey thanks for the tips too!
