I have a friend who got a new Dell desktop computer from Santa.
Right now he's using a laptop with the Omega, ASIO4all driver, WinXP and Cubase Studio 4.
He has asked me to help him put all of this stuff on the new computer which has Win7.
So the question is should I use the latest Win7 drivers from Lexicon or not bother and get the latest Win7 ASIO4all drivers?

ASIO4ALL is a great little hack to try to make 40-cent onboard soundcards work, but you ALWAYS want to use the proper, low-latency drivers written specifically for an asio interface.

Generic drivers will not have all the features of the manufacturers deliberately-written software.

I don't think Lexicon has released any Win7 drivers yet. ASIO4All might be your best bet. These were the only drivers I could find to resolve my Zoom R16/Vista compatibility issue.
