ok here it goes my first problem
i have a lexicon lambda interface that i bought a couple of
years back. Ok i installed it registered it and it was going smooth untlll i actually tried to use it. I followed the directions on the manual and when i tried recording nothing recorded.grrr!
Oh by the way i was using the software it came with
cubase le 4. I have never been able to use it.
Oh and i wanted to know how i could use the lexicon lambda with mixcraft 5. I have a echo layla 20 bit recording thingy and that works fine but for some reason i cant get the lambda to work
please help.

sorry iv never used an interface or anything besides a usb condensor...but have u tried checking the input / output settings and setting them properly ? ...

yes i did. i know i have evreything hooked up correctly because i get signal in the actual interface when i strum a guitar.

so u got everything hooked up ...do u think ur computer recognises the interface ? have u tried reinstalling it and everything ? also try another software to record with ...

EDIT: also have u tried updating ur sound drivers and updating ur ASIO drivers ?...apparently : "Go to your devices tab click on the ASIO driver Lambda and when you get that message click reset and try again it should work. "

i did update the drivers and it does recognize it. i am going to try the last thing you said see if something happens

alright well i tried my best , hope some1 smart can help you out if i didnt , goodluck

Double Check

Im not saying you havent done all this but first double check because if its all done you will eliminate the possibilities to the problem. Check to make sure your mic is plugged in the correct input on the interface, the mic has phantom power if needed and that the gain is appropriately set on whatever your using as a preamp for the mic.

After that yes make sure that the program is using the interface as the soundcard/I/O for the audio.

After doing all of that the only thing that would cause it to not be recording is if the audio track in the DAW is not record enabled or you do not have the correct input set for the audio track you are recording on.
