Lex Core2..matches w/what?

Need help, hopefully someone has a Core2 and can tell me what other high-end cards you can run with it.
So far, I'm only mixing from my Roland 1680, but would like to consider more multitracking if I can find a card that flies with the Lexicon Core2.
Did I buy a half dying horse?

I'm really sorry to say this, but I think you did. I have the Core2 and I can't say i like it. I've never had so much problems with anything in my whole life. But I still have the card and I hope that it will work really well some sunny day...

What do you mean by another card? You don't want to run any other audio card along with the Core2, that's for sure. If you mean a MIDI-interface I can't really answer your question. I haven't got any MIDIinterface yet. But I'm going to get one soon, probably a USB-midiport. I'll let you know if i hear something interesting.
