Im using cakewalk sonar 3.0 ... I dont know why after mix my audio tracks & after export them, i can hear low levels..Maybe i need Mastering after mix? There is no way to bring normal volume on sonar 3.0?
You rigth, but before when i was using Yamaha Aw-16 Hard drive recorder, after i mix my musics and after burnig on cd, it was really high as after mastering..But now Cakewalk sonar 3 giving me little low levels..Im recording normal ( No until Red) 6db, but still getting low....I know about mastering, but this is really low....
I wanted ask this please...Im new all this & thats why im geting little counfused...Is it importand if i use NORMALIZE EFFECT on each tracks? Becasue i mix my musics & i did it today, the result was ( i cant say lol) all my mix return 0 or i can say bad....Can you tell me if i did some think wrong maybe?
Normalizing isn't the solution...that tool if used too much will just make things sound noisey. You should read the help section in SONAR for an explanation on how it works. It has it's uses but not for getting your levels up.
Ok....Im just counfusing about effects.I mean add normalizer or Compressor wich instrument..I have 16 tracks audio on cakewalk, as Piano, guitarm bass, drums, vibe & more...Now i heard about add compressors or Normalizer, but where & wich instrument need it, i dont know....
Yes, but i just want to understand, if i add compressor for KICK or BASS it will change any think good? or it will just change levels..I mean most studios using compressors for each tracks ( piano, vibe, kick, snare & more)..Now i stop here & im thinking, wich instruments are need add compressors & why need it?
You'll need to do a lot of reading and research and experimenting. Your question is like asking "How do I drive a car?"
