Lets talk monitors! New Tannoy for $239 or the Yorkville? Or, maybe the KRK?

Anyone heard the new Tannoy Proto-J monitors yet? These might be very good for the price range ($270 list, $239 from sweetwater.com!!)and they look really nice(www.tannoy.com) I downloaded the manual and read it, really good informative manual. It has "better" specs than the Reveal.
Now, for my question.
Its a shootout between Reveal, Proto-J, Yorkville ysm-1 and the KRK K-Rok monitors. (all low cost, as you can see) I will buy soon. Lets hear some input....
if anyone can find reviews on the proto-j, please post them in this string.

Don't know about the Tannoys, but I'll say KRKs are always very very nice to listen to (I know of people who comes close to killing for a pair) but I think overall, the Yorksvilles is what I'll go for. Smooth, detailed and has nice bass. Of course with that the Yorksville is bigger and less compact than the KRKs.
 
I use and love the Yorkvilles as well. Sweet sounding monitors.
 
Been looking for the yorkvilles all over NYC and have not found any. Where did you people buy from?

Yo Tubedude and all the other Dudes:

I got a pair of Yorkville YSM-1's and plugged them in and they are wonderful for 108.75 per speaker. I have them raised on short wooden stands, off the carpet in my studio. They will accept straight wire connections or the banana plug. I was using Alesis Monitor I's; however, the Yorkvilles blew them away with clear quality sound from tape and CD and for mixing down.

You can spend more, maybe get more quality but for 108.75 per speaker, the Yorkvilles will be very hard to beat.

hongteck...niagra falls is hundreds of miles from NYC...and I went to their site and they sent me 3 dealers in my area. I am familiar with the inventory in all those stores and none of them have yorkville YSM-1s. Wheaton Music does though for $90 a speaker. Regards to singapore.
 
The Tannoy Reveals got great reviews. I've been using them for about a year now and I'm totally satisfied.
