I don't have a lot of experience in the matter of buying classical guitar strings, I've only bought a set once since I purchased my guitar(which is less than a year) and I don't like them, they feel to hard, real hard to bend, and the bass strings sound terrible, does not have that real bassy full sound it had with the stock strings.I paid about ten dollars for them and their D'Addario classical guitar series, silverplated wound, clear nylon, normal tension strings. I would like to know the difference between tensions, silverplated from bronzeplated bass, and clear nylon from rectified nylon. Any information you guys could give me will be greatly appreciated. I would like to add that I'm new to this forum.

Welcome. I have always used Augustine Blue sets on my classical guitars and always loved the feel and sound acoustically and plugged in.

All of this multi thread stuff is tripping me out and getting me lost! lol. Its like some kind of deja vu!
