Let's see a pic of your pedal board set up.

My pedal board seems to be an ever evolving work in progress........in which I may end up dumping for a G-Major here in the near future........except for the OD's and Boost type stuff...

Most of these pedals have been modded in some degree or another...

Man that is one tidy set up. I have been threatening to mount my pedals on a 1/8"aluminum(ium) plate for a long time. Is that a commercial road case you have used? What is your power source?

i think he's using the power from the Boss tuner. is it true you can only power Boss pedals using Boss' own 9v power supply, or on the daisy chain from the tuner? why is that? just so they can make some pocket money from the sale of their own power supply? :p

Remove the Deep Impact(which died), and replace the MUrF with a Bass MUrF, you have it...

I run an Ibanez tube screamer and zakk wylde wah off my boss tu-2 tuner pedal with no problems.

Very nice, man. Very nice. Looks like all but one of the bottom row is all keeley or keeley modded. Pretty sweet.

The Pedal board it's self was purchased through Rondo Music (Where I purchased my Agile LP copy as well ---- which by the way is a KILLER guitar! :D )

These cases are very inexpensive an one of the best bang for your buck out there!

I'm powering the whole unit with a "One Spot" power supply: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Guitar/Effects?sku=151694

I run the one spot into the Boss TU-2 tuner and then through the rest of the pedals.

Yes, most everything on there has been modded in some way or another...

The SD-1 has been moded by "Analog Man", and the Dunlop Cry Baby has been Keeley modded as well. I've also added a Keeley modded Boss CE-2 chorus which is very steller.

are you sure that cable won't corrupt your signal? you could also solder your pu's directly to the amps input.

;) :D

I need some ideas.

Me too.. I am not sure what to do either make one myself or buy one of the modular type boards from pedalboards.com

If I do make one myself I would like to include something like this:
Bypass

I do hope though that there is more response to this thread as I find it really interesting..

I dunno I have a g-major and would *not* recommend it compared to what you have got... a G-force maybe ... but even then i would be hesitant... i think there is more unique character in what you have, but that is only my 0.02c

hehe, cool. i'm quite interested in picking up one of those 'one spot' power supplies... my only problem is the fact that i've got more pedals than i could use with one set of daisy chain things - i was wondering, could i get one power supply, and two sets of daisy chains (which have five sets of plugs on each) and connect the daisy chains together, giving me 9 supplies? would that work? or would you recommend two seperate power supplies, with two seperate sets of daisy chains?

thanks for any help,

Andy

Here's the pedal board I designed and built a few months ago. I posted drawings that I had scanned because I didn't have a digital camera. But now that I do, and this thread showed up, I thought I'd share.

This cost me about $20 and took about .... I guess a week from first idea to final construction (not working straight through of course!)

Choice! Nothing wasted and self contained. The only thing that would make that slightly more slick would be that if you didn't have to remove the handle piece but instead, it just flipped down.

Either way...2thumbsup!

Thanks. Yeah I considering trying to do what you were talking about, but after a few hours of scratching my head over the details of making it work, I opted for the easier route.

My wife bought a case of coke from sams club a while back it came on this red plastic flat kinda like a milk crate. I used wire ties to lash down my pedals: dyna comp, ibanez chorus, distortion+, rat, ibanez digital delay. I power it with a dod thing I bough a long time ago. It has 1/8" jacks for outputs and I made the power cables. There is a +/- program change box that I made for my SE50 that I made out of the case from an MXR Micro amp. I also have a cry baby and a volume pedal. I have sure wireless, so I now I have 2 signal cables a power cable and the program change cable, which is a drag.

Most gigs, I just get a sound dialed up that I like and leave it. I am starting to think about shitcanning the pedals and just buying a new combo amp that sounds good. A month ago, I just shoved the pedalboard underneatht the chair I was using for an amp stand and ran the volume pedal out to my mic. Felt kinda scary, but I could get used to it. I admit that I pussed the last few gigs and brought them back out. I actually used the chorus for the first time in like 3 years. I hate those things.
