I've been wanting a baritone for ages, harrassing this forum with questions,:D

Now I think I found the deal of the decade;
A Gibson Les Paul Baritone, black, for 900euros. (1799.- new, at thomann)

The dude selling it has thrown away the pickguard, lost some screws and springs from the bridge, and changed the pot-caps to black.
Hence the low price, but I think the bridge can be fixed easily??
..Other things don't matter to me.

The only shit in this,,,, I'd have to send the dude cash, and he'd send me the guit by bus. Unless I can think of other arrangement.

The bridge shouldn't be a prob should it??

It's "platinum" but regular les paul size??...i think so...

cash ?

be verry carefull when sending cash ..... personaly if i did not know the guy i would never send cash

Just found out about a COD type arrangement with local busslines, and got the dealer on that too.:D
One load off my heart. Now I just need the missing parts to the bridge or a new bridge, preferably suited to existing poles.....

I'm thinking of replacing the whole bridge with some stewmac replacement, but the pole-distance seems to vary somewhat!!
Not much, but little.. Bari should be same as LPstudio.

Is there a good tune-o-matic to match poles???

Any Idea in getting a piezomic'd bridge??

It seems no-one in my town can do setups, so intonation will be by me, any good computer-based tuners accurate enough??

edit: Fuck it, found out the local shop DOES make repairs and setup.

So, I bought the damn thing, Local shop couldn't find a screw in the bridge, but gave me a similar which I can make right at work, otherwise a fine piece of a stringed instrument, resting next to my favorite bass:
