Hello, I have a little problem here,

I want to be able to plug headphones into the Left output of my mixer and hear the left channel in both ears, right now, I obviously only hear it in the left ear, the headphones are 1/8 jack and the ouput of the mixer takes a 1/4 jack, is there a transformer that can do the job for that ?

Thanks,
Francis.

if its not at radioshack they probably don't make it. if you don't mind having a mono only set of headphones you could cut off the jack that's there now, but a mono one, and re-wire both sides to it.

I'm doing something very similar to you at the moment, I got one of these: (mine are from Maplin - the UKs Radioshack)

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2104044&cp=&kw=stereo+jack&parentPage=search

Basically, you want to take the wire that has your left channel, wire it to the "left" channel in that adapter and then "daisy chain" a new bit of wire to the "right channel" in the adapter.

I bet you'd lose some volume, but you can always turn up!

I'm making my self a really cheap 2 headphone amp - basically I want to use a single phones stereo output, wire 2 of those babies up using the daisy chain method (obv keeping left-left and right-right) then plugging each headphone set into each jack.

I am guessing there will be volume loss, maybe not - but either way you can turn volume up!

Give it a try! you only lose $4 if it doesn't work haha...
