I've never followed individuals, but he's a quiet, nice guy who just plays solid bass. Often some of the stuff he plays is simple, but he plays the lines just right. I think his real pet hate is something different. He plays a tune in a video, and youtube pull the video because of a copyright violation on a song he played on. It's unlikely Phil Collins had anything to do with it, but his agents and agents of agents and record companies, many times removed control musci very oddly.

My favourite tale was when a British rights organisation staffer was on holiday in a mediteranean country noticed an amateur product of one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's shows. He phoned the office and told them. It turned out the amateur organisers had spoken to Andrew's mum who said "He won't mind".
