I am trying to record but when I play back the recording on a stereo the recording is slow. I have tried changing the pitch contol but that doesn't seem to help. What am I doing wrong?
Are you playing it back on a DIFFERENT stereo??
The 488 records at double speed. To listen on a regular cassette deck you need to make a mix of your 488 recordings onto a regular deck.
Now if you record on the 488 and it plays back slower, you have an equipment failure issue.
