Just wondering if any of you have ever tried these. I just purchased the Sony glasstron LCD eyeglasses from a friend to be able to hook them up to my PC, and mix stuff down using these instead of viewing through my LCD monitor. They have a resolution of 800x600 on dime sized screens that sit an inch or so in front of your eyes, and have a dimmer switch that allows you to dim the images, and be able to make them transparent to view the outside world. I'm hoping that I can be able to emulate dual display monitors & be able to have a better workspace for Sonar & Pro Tools, and the occasional movie lol.

That's interesting!
Let us know how they turn out. I never heard of anything like that~~~\

I didn't know you use Sonar. I have 4 producer, but don't use it much because I am not that much on top of it......But I am looking more into incorporating it into my flow. How do you like it?
I record on my standalone, send it to Sonar to mix on, then I send it back to my standalone.

At the studio I use Pro Tools, at home I use Sonar 5 Pro or Nuendo 3 depending on what type of project I'm doing.

There's a pair of eyeglasses at http://www.sensics.com/products.html that have a phenominal (spelling??) resolution. I'm talking about rediculously high... 4200x2400 for the small screens they have with a panoramic view of up to 180 degrees depending on model.... but it's up there in $$... some where around $5-10K.

I'll use these before upgrading to those... now all I need is some vitural gloves and I'll get someone to reprogram Pro Tools and use my hands instead of mouse lol. Pro Tools Matrix Powered.

I value my eyesight too much to stare at a micro screen one inch from my eyes.
