Okay, I've bought and read through the Everest books. I've been to the sae site and read through it all. I think I know what I have to do to transform my stucco'ed 16X23X12 room into a nice sounding facility. I am a fairly competent wood worker.
But I don't have a lot of time to spend building frames, traps, etc...
I'm looking into the kits, such as the Auralex Roominator, the RPG Studio in a Box and the Primacoustics London-14 solutions. I know these are purported to be one-size-fits-all approaches and will have certain drawbacks. However, I need to get up and running as soon as humanly possible.
Has anyone compared these kits and can offer a nudge in one direction or another?
Thanks,
