Anyone got a Layla 3G? It used to work perfectly.
I recently upgraded my computer to AMD 64 x2 and nForce4 mobo (ASUS An8-SLI), and now all hell is loose with my Layla3G card. On smaller Cubase SX projects, there's random audio dropouts. On larger projects, horrible cracking and pop'ing. This is not good. I've written to ECHO, we'll see what they say.
I've tried everything I can think of; switching PCI slots, setting PCI latency, preload amounts, multiprocessing on/off, releasing/not releasing drivers, buffer sizes, newest drivers to no avail. The only thing I can deduce is that it's a driver issue, and that hasn't been updated since nov 05.
Be warned if you're thinking of buying a 3G.
