Has anyone done any recording with Guitarport on cakewalk yet? I'm thinking about getting a Guitarport, and My friend has Cakewalk, but I don't know much about either. Any comments?

Don't know much about guitar port ,but I do know you need a computer to run it.Knowing that I would be wary of software conflicts as always with these damn computers what works for one might not work for the other.
My suggestion would be a pod,j-station,v-amp or other modeling device.The upside to these is that you can use them on their own away from the computer and when your computer becomes outdated(it will)you'll still have a viable piece of hardware.
BTW a lot of people put down behringer but that v-amp has been getting some good reviews especially for the price of $129.
