Layering sounds ?

Is there a simple way to open 2 vst sound libraries in cubase and play them both live on the keyboard ?

I'm not a vst user, but how about this:
Set up your two voices, and have them respond to the same midi channel as your keyboard outputs.
It sounds obvious. I do this with hardware voice boxes.

You add two instrument tracks, then assign them the same midi channel in their plugin window, then add 2 midi tracks that one point to each instrument track and assign them the same midi i/o channel. You have to arm the midi channels even though you are not recording.

Edit: You could set the outputs of the midi i/o channel to one analog mixing bus, but I create two stereo busses so I can mix them.

Ok I dont really understand the midi Channel thing I think maybe it's on all . Did read somewhere about hit record though . I'll try that
