How does one layer a clip onto another, without overwriting the area of the 1st clip that the layered clip has occupied. I'd like to be able to hear all layered clips - whether they be two, or twenty in number.

Thanks

Sounds like your copy is doing an OVERWRITE not a BLEND. This behaviour can be changed by hitting the ADVANCED button on the copy dialogue box.

You are using something old, right? PA v9?

Negative, Q. The program being used is Sonar producer. Actually, it was my brother wjpho was working on a project - and who ran into this problem. Apparently, there was a setting in the "Drag & Drop" options box which had to be checked, and which proved to offer the remedy.

Thanks for responding.
