First one I've posted on here for a while, been upgrading the system with Cubase SX and Win XP. Working on multiple songs that seemed to be going nowhere. Decided to write a quick song for my wife who was coming back after two weeks.

If you listen, please leave even a brief comment, thanks!!

Good tune man.Nice drivin flow to it.......cool guitars.........percussion is good too.Your vocals are quite good also..I would have liked to have heard the harmony vocal turned up just a little more.....in fact I think the lead vocal could use just a little more presence.....maybe a bump on the volume.

Cool organ sound,it helps keep the whole thing glued together.

I enjoyed listening to that....on the second listen right now.

Excellent tune my friend. Very good. Great mix too. I'd mix the drums a little more forward and also the backing vox but that's really just a matter of taste. I'd buy this.

Great guitar sound. All the sounds are good in fact. The overall mix is a little bright for me, but not that bad. I'd like the vocals to have a bit less processing ie verb. I would try some different treatments for the verse and chorus vocals. Maybe more intimate and less verb on the verses and get big with the verb on the chorus. The drums might work better if they were less wide in the stereo field, specifically the high hat being way over in the left and the shaker on the right. Overall the mix is too upfront. Use some of that verb to set things back and move those faders!

I love the tune itself. It's excellent, I'm pumping my fist. I really dig the solo and turn around into the breakdown bridge. I love the hook at the end of the chorus, "singin' the blues".

Great job. Again your guitar sound is really awesome.

C'mon and get happay!!!

Happy little song. I'm diggin the voice, sounds like Cat Stevens to me. The mix sounds great. I wouldn't change anything. I like the little rattles and accents.

Thanks for comments

Hey, thanks for all the positive vibes...

Glad everyone likes the guitar sounds. My Marshall cab, amps and pedals are collecting dust now... all 3 guitars in the song, and the bass are processed through Amplitube from IK Multimedia.

Cat Stevens? Someone said that about the vocal on the last song I posted. Interesting...

Waldo - havn't really ever done much in live gigs, was doing a lot of live sound years ago. Just mostly sit in my dungeon workin on tunes. My e-mail ad is in the ID3 tag.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone!

Well written and recorded GREAT !
