Which is more ex? Delta or Audiophile.... 2496.... is the difference worth it? Any audible difference in digital sound quality?

Anyway from what i understand, the Audiophile and the Delta 44/66/1010 have the same convertors, its just a matter of more in/outs.
And the audiophile will pass MIDI but doesnt do midi synth. Its conceivable to use another card for midi though.

But will the Audiophile's MIDI give me the low latency to record using Dxis?

So, does anyone actually have an Audiophile out there? I need to really make sure because it is quite a lot of money for me as I'm still a student (who wants to make gd recordings, of course).
