Left work a early - didn't know why - arrived home clicked on & there's a new Nak Attack - there's always a reason...
Great DP organ opening - Are the drums too loud - NO!
This track is a rocker - the 1.08 is cool - guitars B May & DP organ - unique comboof sounds.
Excellent trip - I mean song!
Now, seriously - put me down on the mailing list - I want a copy. Do you want paypal, currency, postage stamps or slaves?
What's the distribution arrangement? CD BABY, NOT LAME, back'o'th'van? I WANT one - as it is I've been building a album from your clips from the last couple of years - excellent lying in the dark, turned up loud, bliss listening!

Sorry, I dont need any graphics, are album cover is handrawn by our guitarplayer.
I suggest you use the marketing/ classifieds for future advertisments.

Oops, for a minute I thought I was back in '72. Fantastic stuff! I'm amazed at how "vintage" this sounds. Love the organ, guitar tracking, and MELLOTRON (or perhaps Memotron?)! Even the vocals, though up, "seem" somewhat down in the mix (this is a good thing) reminding me of old Genesis (a lot), Nektar, King Crimson. I definitely want to hear more...can't wait for the album. Well done!
 
Kick is a little too forward, N ... the rest of the drums are fine.

The keys are a little harsh; mostly the organ, string and synth patches ... just quite a bit too much bite, and they freq compete/clash/interfere w/ the vocal when the two are present together. I'd have probably panned them a little wider and thinner too, tucking them in behind ... filling out, less standing out ... but that's just personal mix taste stuff.

Performances and overall presentation are exceptional.

There's ten kind of people: Those who like the drums loud and those that don't :D Maybe the kick is kinda loud at the beginning but when all the instruments are together it sounds really good. I'm not sure if you're on time to put a pinch of reverb on the snare... kinda dry for my taste.
 
I think the snare fits into the retro vibe well. Not really my kind of stuff but it is well tracked and convincing.

wow thats the best feedback I can get, I do my utmost to sound 70`s:cool:
I love the Mellotorn, its the best sounding "synth" ever IMO.
Love Genesis, Nektar and Crimson.

actually Ithink the drums are too wet after a few listens, I`m a die hard dead dry drum sound enthusiast:):D

Thanks, I`m leaning towards feeling the snare is to dark, will tweak some more:)

I listened to it before I read Sailjunkie's post and the "vinatge sound" jumped out at me. Drums are a bit strong in the beginning but it still works.

Sailjunkie took the words right out of my mouth!

Yep, I love Mellotron strings. They don't sound real, but they sure sound cool!

The tron has gone through some eq filtering to take away the harshness, and I`ve put a shit load of verb on it.

Its the closest you get to the real thing, though:)
Btw we used the gforce M-tron

cheap and brilliant

ah...some Uriah Heep influenced stuff. Sounds pretty decent. However the kick and the bass guitar both seemed severely rolled off at 200Hz or so. The drums aren't too loud for me, but they sound like the Uriah Heep era drums... very dead sounding....like when you duct taped your wallet to the heads. And the kick is stuffed with a bunch of pillows.
Love the guitars and of course the organ.

Nice song. Has that "raw" kinda recorded sound to it, but...what I mean is like the whole band recorded in one room, until the right take was accomplished....no overdubs.
