OK I recorded some drums, then did a 'split at cursor' in a couple of spots to create a clip. Now I just want to loop the clip so I can hear how it sounds.

Is this even possible? The loop button on the Transport bar doesn't seem to work. I'm not interested in hit points, just want to loop a section of audio

There should be to blue arrows in the ruler section click and drag that to match what you want to loop.

In the Project window highlight the part, hit "P" on the keyboard (this sets the left and right markers to the selection), turn on the loop on the transport bar and hit play...

BTW I've said this many times on this board before, and I'll say it again... make close friends with the Help menu. It's extremely good. There is nothing about Cubase that is not covered there.

There's a DVD instructional guide to Cubase SX 3...you should take a look for it...
