I Respect
Indeed...Forever more will there be a battle between Macintosh and Windows. What's better...and different things within those...what's better. I respect all...Windows including, for if I didn't that would mean that I would be a hipocrit, and I try not to be.
My best friend's family memebers, like I said have a home studio...they use Macs. They have a very large 24+ track setup, and they said they'd let me come in with a demo off the net of Cubase on a mac of the similar specs of the powerbook. We'll see how it goes...but as the requirements say, and as I expect, anything would be better than what I am running on now...for...all music equipment changes...and although I don't need a complete mobile setup, I need something that can record everything I might be doing, with bands, combos, simple solo stuff...and all of that...while dabbling in the sort of things that I want to get into.
ProTools is getting in many studios around here...working on Macs...if I get used to the Macs (My whole life has been on Windows it seems) and work with DAW's like ProTools...I should be stable as far as how everything goes.
Anyways...I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who provided me much of communication and ideas and suggestions for they all were very helpful in making a decision and overall, just learning about everything.
I hope to see you all around this forum. Thanks! What a way to start my membership!
