Lap Top Multiplie input soundcards

Can anyone link to a multiple input soundcard for a laptop?... looking for at least 8 mono inputs 6 stereo would be comprable too....

I am hoping to stay away from USB soundcards.... Are there other options?

Most of those are firewire, which is fantastic for audio production. Happy Hunting.
