One Hit Wonder
There have been a few discussions on this forum recently concerning the Sonar MP3 Encoder and the Lame MP3 Encoder. While the Lame Encoder is (IMHO) a better encoder, some people preferred the Sonar version because you could export the .mp3 directly from within Sonar.
On the Sonar newsgroup there was a reference made to the below site, which has a program that allows you to use the Lame Encoder from within Sonar:
http://www.truls.org/jonas/musik/CwMP3Shell/CwMP3Shell.html
Be forewarned that you try this at your own risk. I have not used it as I create my .mp3's from within Wavelab, which already uses the Lame encoder as it's native encoder. However, it does seem to fit a need expressed by some.
If you try it and it works, post back and let us know.
