I have a Lagoon soundcard (Midiman, M Audio) installed on my computer (PC, P3 667, 256mb, 20.5Gb, 8mb Ai, 56K mod C8424) and i am experiencing the following problems:
The soundcard will not allow the use of Direct sound
I am unable to stream audio and video from the internet. This is the case when using the most current versions of Windows Media Player and Real Player. The audio is jumpy and plays at various speeds.
I have a recommendation that i need to run two soundcards, perhaps the new Audiofile from Midiman but i have also been told that the cards may conflict. How serious is this problem?
I currently use the card in my studio setup for multitracking purposes.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
